CostWorks is an incredibly useful tool which literally enables the user to have the entire set of RSMeans cost books and many other valuable estimating aids right at the fingertips. Depending upon which of the electronic books are purchased, CostWorks enables the user to develop estimates electronically from the selected databases and to adjust the estimates for any specific geographic location within the US or Canada using either union labor or open shop labor. Included is a feature which can modify or replace any data line in an estimate with alternate data quickly and easily. CostWorks also provides hot links to many useful reference sites and can export data directly to Lotus®, Excel®, and Windows® applications.
